Requirements for brake fluid of 4WD forklift

1. Little impact on rubber. There are many rubber seals in the brake system. In order not to reduce the mechanical strength and elasticity of the rubber seals, it is required that the brake fluid has a small impact on the expansion rate of the rubber, so as to prevent the rubber cups from soaking in the brake fluid for a long time, resulting in changes in strength, volume and quality.

2. Chemical stability: when the brake fluid is used at high temperature for a long time, it is required that the oil will not be viscous due to thermal differentiation and overlap, and oil sludge deposits will not be generated.

3. Good corrosion resistance. In order to ensure that the brake fluid will not attack the metal pipeline and structure during long-term high-temperature operation, it is required to add rust inhibitor in the brake fluid.

4. The boiling point shall be high. The forklift frequently travels and reverses in each working cycle, and the brake friction plate is in the braking condition for a long time, which will raise the brake temperature. If the brake fluid with low boiling point and easy to transpiration is used, the pipes of some brake systems will be filled with brake fluid steam, generating gas resistance and causing brake failure. Therefore, the brake fluid is required to have a high boiling point.

5. Proper viscosity: if the viscosity is too large, the low-temperature fluidity becomes poor, the braking function decreases, and the viscosity is too small, it can not provide reliable smooth and simple in high-temperature environment - 40 ℃ does not condense, and the flow is natural.
