What should be paid attention to in safe operation of forklift

What should be paid attention to in safe operation of forklift

(1) Drive

(1) When the forklift is operating, it must comply with the traffic rules in the plant and keep a certain safe distance from the vehicle in front of it.

(2) When the internal combustion forklift is going downhill, it is strictly prohibited to stall and slide.

(3) Under special circumstances, it is prohibited to brake suddenly when the load is running.

(4) The steering of the forklift is controlled by the rear wheels, so the swing behind the forklift must be paid attention to at all times to avoid the phenomenon of turning too quickly when the beginner drives.

(5) Do not raise the fork too high when driving. When entering or leaving the operation site or driving, pay attention to whether there are obstacles in the air. If the forklift is raised too high when the load is running, the overall center of gravity height of the forklift will be increased and the stability of the forklift will be affected.

(6) When the load travels at more than 7 degrees and the speed is higher than the first gear, the brake shall not be used under special circumstances.

(7) It is prohibited to turn on the ramp and drive across the ramp.

(8) When the forklift is carrying goods downhill, it should travel backward to prevent the goods from falling.

(9) When driving, the height between the bottom end of the fork and the ground shall be 300-400mm, and the gantry shall be tilted back.

(10) After unloading, the forks should be lowered to the normal driving position before driving.

(11) When the forklift is running, the load must be at the lowest position that does not hinder the driving. The gantry shall be properly tilted back. The load shall not be raised except when stacking or loading. When carrying large objects, the objects block the driver's sight, and the forklift should be reversed.

(12) When turning, if there are pedestrians or vehicles nearby, signals shall be sent and sharp turning at high speed is prohibited. Sharp turning at high speed may cause the vehicle to lose lateral stability and roll over.

(2) Check the vehicle

(1) During the operation of the forklift, check whether the pressure and temperature are normal.

(2) Check whether the light and sound signals are complete and effective.

(3) After the operation of the forklift, the leakage shall also be checked and the seals shall be replaced in time.

(4) In addition to the above contents, the battery forklift shall also check the circuit of the battery forklift according to the relevant inspection contents of the battery forklift.

(5) Before forklift operation, the appearance shall be checked and fuel, lubricating oil and cooling water shall be filled.

(6) Check startup, operation and braking performance.

(3) Drive

The load shall not be raised except when stacking or loading. When carrying large objects, the objects block the driver's sight, and the forklift should be reversed.

(4) Loading and unloading

(1) During forklift operation, it is prohibited to stand on the forklift.

(2) Single fork operation is prohibited.

(3) During forklift operation, it is prohibited to stand around the forks to avoid goods collapsing and injuring people.

(4) When taking goods with fork, the fork should be as deep as possible under the load, and the fork tip should not touch other goods or objects. The minimum gantry tilt back shall be used to stabilize the load so as to prevent the load from sliding backward. When the load is released, the gantry can be slightly tilted forward to facilitate the placement of the load and the extraction of the fork.

(5) When forking articles, the distance between two forks shall be adjusted as required to make the load of the two forks balanced without deflection. One side of the articles shall be close to the rack. The weight of the forks shall meet the requirements of the load center curve signboard.

(6) When the goods forklift approaches or evacuates the goods, the speed shall be slow and stable. Note that the wheels shall not crush the goods and wooden mats, so as to avoid flying of the crushed goods and injuring people.

(7) It is forbidden to use forks to lift personnel to work at heights to avoid falling accidents.

(8) It is not allowed to use braking inertia to slide articles.

(9) The height of the load shall not obstruct the driver's sight.

(10) During the loading and unloading of goods, the forklift must be braked by the brake.

(11) Overload operation is prohibited

(12) It is not allowed to cross ship goods directly on the quay.

(13) It is prohibited to fork goods at high speed and collide with hard objects with fork heads.
