Explosion proof forklift is made for the local characteristics that may produce explosion-proof gas and dust, mainly to prevent explosion of forklift in the working environment.

Here are some knowledge about explosion-proof forklift:

Explosive gas environment, the degree of installation hazard is divided into three areas

Zone 0: places where explosive gas environment occurs continuously or exists for a long time. (motor industrial vehicles are not allowed to enter)

Zone 1: places where explosive gas environment may occur during normal operation.

Zone 2: during normal operation, explosive gas environment is unlikely to occur. If it occurs, it also occurs occasionally and only exists for a short time.

At present, the highest level of explosion-proof forklifts at home and abroad can only operate safely in zone 1 and zone 2.

Conditions of combustible gas explosion

1. Internal factors: explosion may occur when the concentration of combustible gas is within a certain range.

2. External factors: open fire or ignition flash arc, when the ambient temperature reaches above the natural point and there is a certain amount of radiation, explosion may occur. Specifically, it is reflected in the electric light flower on the vehicle, and sparks are generated by mechanical collision.

Explosion proof method adopted by explosion-proof forklift

1. Explosion proof forklift structure: isolation measures are used in the structure to isolate the electrical and surrounding environment. Commonly used are explosion-proof type and increased safety type.

2. Intrinsic safety: limit the energy of the circuit. No matter under normal or short-circuit fault conditions, the temperature is not enough to ignite the explosive gas.
